HONOR BAND CONCERT TOMORROW, SAX-Y GRAMS FRIDAY, WINTER GUARD PREVIEW SATURDAY!

The 2025 ABCUSD Honor Band Concert is happening tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12th, at 7:00PM in the Grace Hu Auditorium at Whitney High School! We are thrilled to have 44 talented students from Gahr representing us this year.

Both the high school and middle school honor bands have been working tirelessly to prepare an incredible performance, and you won’t want to miss it! Admission is free, but seating is limited, so be sure to arrive early. See you there!

Weekly Celebrations & Announcements – Gahr Instrumental Music Program

Congratulations to Gahr Indoor Percussion on the successful debut of their 2025 program, “Make What We Can” at the SCPA La Quinta Competition this past Saturday! Thank you to all the parents who helped make this possible!

A huge congratulations to William Wu for performing with the SCSBOA All-Southern Wind Ensemble this weekend. This is an incredible achievement – and he was chosen from over 2,400 students who auditioned for the honor groups. Way to go William!

Special congratulations to Gahr alumnus Pablo Castro on his Master’s Trombone Recital this past Saturday at USC! We are so proud of you and all of your accomplishments in music.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who attended Wednesday’s Booster Meeting and those who helped out with Indoor Percussion and Winter Guard this weekend — whether it was prop painting, meals, transportation, or equipment. It was amazing to see parents helping with groups they don’t even have children in! Finally, thank you to everyone who supported the program with the Super Bowl squares and 50/50. Your support makes all the difference!

1st Winter Guard Performance this Saturday at Chino Hills HS

Winter Guard’s debut performance of “Squawk!” is this Saturday, February 15th at Chino Hills High Schoo! All parents are expected to help with equipment, props, and carpool students. Please do not assume your child has a ride.
