CONGRATS TO JV GUARD, VARSITY GUARD, AND INDOOR PERCUSSION ON AN AMAZING SPRING SHOWCASE! FINALLY, GREAT JOB VARSITY GUARD ON A STRONG PERFORMANCE AT THE WGASC SHOW AT AYALA HS!

This Sunday, April 7th, we’ll be hosting our first ever Winter Guard show at Gahr! This is a huge undertaking and we need everyone’s help in the program to make this event successful. WE CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH VOLUNTEERS SIGNED UP — if you have not signed up for a shift yet, PLEASE SIGN UP HERE!!
At 8:45AM on Sunday morning, WGASC will be meeting with all volunteers in order to go through important information for the whole day. If you are available to help, please arrive at Gahr no later than 8:30AM.
Student Volunteers — thank you for signing up to help in class last Thursday! Look out for a Slack message from Mr. Miller regarding your final assignments.

WE NEED TO PAY OUR INSTRUCTORS FOR THE TIME THEY HAVE ALREADY WORKED AND CANNOT DO THAT WITHOUT YOUR DONATION. SCSBOA REGIONAL FESTIVAL ON APRIL 25th
Congratulations again to Gahr High School on a UNANIMOUS SUPERIOR rating at SCSBOA Band & Orchestra Festival! Both the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble earned a “SUPERIOR” rating (the highest score attainable) by all four judges, including sight-reading. We would also like to congratulate Mr. Lopez and Ross Middle School on earning a Unanimous Superior as well! SAVE THE DATE: Gahr High School will be advancing to SCSBOA Regional Festival at Kennedy HS on Thursday, April 25, 2024!
FUNDRIVE DONATION EVENT ON SATURDAY 4/27
Clean out your closets for a good cause! We’re collecting men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes, shoes, coats, scarves, ties, belts, bedding, comforters, blankets, towels, linens, pillows, and more! Place donated items into 13-gallon kitchen trash bags. All items must be clean and in sellable condition.
DROP-OFF: Please drop off bags at Gahr High School on Saturday, April 27th from 9AM-2PM.
