Great performances this past week! On Friday, the Wind Ensemble had a fantastic performance at the CSUF Festival of Winds, an amazing clinic with Dr. de Seriere, and had the opportunity to watch an inspiring concert by the CSUF Wind Symphony. On Saturday, Indoor Percussion competed the SCPA Monrovia show showcasing their hard work this past week. Winter Guard had an outstanding performance on Saturday at the WGASC Downey HS show!

A huge thank you to all the parents who volunteered and supported our students with meals, transportation, equipment, and props! Thank you to everyone who supported the program by eating at Habit Burger last week.

WIND ENSEMBLE AT SCSBOA FESTIVAL AT KENNEDY HS – TUESDAY 3/4
STUDENTS: Bring your ALL BLACK concert attire to school. We will have a short rehearsal and run-through after school. The boosters will be providing dinner at 5:30PM, and we will load the buses to head to Kennedy HS at 6:15PM.
This festival is FREE and open to the public. The Wind Ensemble will be performing at 8:00PM in the theater. You are also invited to watch the clinic directly following the performance.

The Winter Guard will be participating in the WGI Manhattan Beach Regional held at Mira Costa High School this weekend, March 8-9. This event draws the best Winter Guards from throughout the area and gives our students the opportunity to not only compete against these top guards, but also to watch some of the best groups in the nation competing in the world division. Students will be carpooling both days to the WGI Regional.
