HOLIDAY VIDEO RECORDINGS DUE THIS WEEK
Thank you for attending last week’s Parent/Student Meeting! We covered important information regarding safety protocols and rules for returning to athletic/band conditioning. Click here to download the slide deck from the meeting. Please take a few minutes to complete the Band & Color Guard Survey so we can begin planning for 2nd semester. Your input will help us determine what we will do as an organization, with everything from budgeting and donations to staffing and show design. Keep in mind that all scenarios are based on following the state, county, and district guidelines at the time with the students’ safety as our highest priority. The deadline for surveys to be completed is this Friday, December 11th.

FINAL HOLIDAY VIDEOS DUE THIS WEEK 📹
STUDENTS: This will be a busy week for us as we finish the music for our holiday concert and record all our videos. There is a video assignment due today, Sunday 12/6. Please make sure you have scheduled time for practicing early in the week and for recording your final videos. PLEASE RECORD YOUR FINAL VIDEO IN LANDSCAPE/WIDE.

**ALL FINAL VIDEOS DUE THIS WEEK**
For your final video, please record LANDSCAPE/WIDE and make sure the camera is far enough away so you stay in frame.
BAND/PERCUSSION: Wear something fun, festive, or an ugly sweater! Holiday/Santa hats are highly encouraged :)
COLOR GUARD: Wear pajamas!

ABCUSD DIGITAL WINTER CONCERT 12/17 🎄
SAVE THE DATE: The ABCUSD Digital Winter Concert is Thursday, December 17th at 6:30PM via YouTube Premiere! This exciting concert will feature musicians from every high school, middle school, and many elementary schools in our district. Make sure you are practicing DAILY with a metronome.

GAHR MARCHING GLADIATORS VIRTUAL PERFORMANCE
I am pleased to share the Gahr High School Marching Gladiators' latest virtual performance! The students worked hard to learn their parts and record themselves. All the audio heard in this production is 100% from the students' playing. Since we currently do not have an audience for our performances, please feel free to share this on your social media!

SEMESTER DONATION OF $150 PAST DUE
The 1st semester donation of $150 for all students is past due. This has helped cover purchasing music and instructors (besides Mr. Loney). If you did not turn this in or you were a late addition to the music program, please help get this in ASAP. We want to make sure we’re able to pay for our instructional staff through the end of the semester and will also need funds as we prepare for a possible competitive season. Thank you!

ATHLETIC CLEARANCE 🩺
At this point, all students should have completed a physical evaluation and registered on the Family ID website. Once you’re registered, download the “Physical Evaluation” form. Print out the form and take it with you so the physician can complete it during your physical exam. These are typically around $20, and they usually prefer cash. After you finish your physical, scan or take a picture of your paperwork and upload it to the Family ID website by clicking the button that says “Choose File.”
