Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who supported the program by eating at Lucille’s!

Referrals = Success! Referrals are the KEY to making this fundraiser a success, and we need everyone’s help! Please text and email your student’s referral flyer to ALL your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors — anyone who might need a mattress!
IMPORTANT: Students are NOT allowed to pass out referral flyers at the event on the day of the fundraiser.
💥 Every referral counts — and your student earns credit for every sale they bring in!
STUDENTS: WE NEED YOUR HELP THE DAY OF THE EVENT! We need students to be there the day of the event so you can say thank you to the people coming in to support you. We’ll have signs for you – and even mattress costumes!
Sign up for one shift in class this week:
Shift 1: 9:45AM–11:45AM
Shift 2: 11:30AM–1:30PM
Shift 3: 1:15PM–3:15PM
Shift 4: 3:00PM–5:00PM
We will also be making teams of 5 so that you can get the TEAM BONUS when everyone on the team gets a sale. Start thinking about four other students you want to partner with to make more money! Remember, there will also be a raffle for a big prize item – like a new PS5, XBox Series X, iPad, and more.
Let’s make this our biggest fundraiser yet! Thank you for your support.

GAHR AREA CONCERT — NEXT WEDNESDAY 5/7 🎶
The Gahr Area Concert is next Wednesday, May 7th at 6:30PM in the Gahr HS Gym! Both the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will be combining together, and we will be joined by Ross MS, Haskell MS, Tetzlaff MS, and many of our elementary feeder schools.
Admission is FREE – but you can support the program by purchasing raffle tickets for gift baskets featuring incredible items like a brand-new Nintendo Switch 2 and a Nespresso Vertuo Pop + Milk Frother! We’ll also have snacks, drinks, and merchandise available too.
Students have the following rehearsal schedule to learn the new music:
Tuesday 4/29 from 3:30-6:00PM (Wicked, Godzilla)
Thursday 5/1 from 3:30-6:00PM (Godzilla, Wicked)
Monday 5/5 from 3:30-6:00PM (Review, add Mission: Impossible Theme)
Tuesday 5/6 from 3:30-6:30PM (Final Rehearsal/Run-through)
The Area Concert is a super quick turn around, and we need 100% attendance at these rehearsals so we are able to put the concert together and have a successful performance. Make sure you’re practicing your music DAILY with a metronome. Students must be in attendance at rehearsals to participate in the concert.
LEADERSHIP APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN 🏆
Are you ready to step up and make a difference?

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Mr. Loney.
🔥 Take a leap. Challenge yourself. Be part of something bigger.
We can’t wait to see what you bring to the table!
ALL OUTSTANDING DONATIONS ARE PAST DUE
This is a friendly reminder that all donations for Indoor Percussion, Winter Guard, and Marching Band are now past due. We are unable to pay for end-of-year awards and outstanding bills — including flag silks, floor tarps, costumes, and staffing — without these donations.
Students must be caught up with all outstanding donations in order to attend the Awards Banquet.
We accept cash, checks made payable to “Gahr Band Boosters”, or you can click here to pay online with a credit card. Thank you for your support!
