SCPA CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS THIS SATURDAY!
Great job this past weekend and thank you to everyone who helped with SCPA Championship Prelims on Saturday and hosting our first WGASC Competition on Sunday!! Right before Spring Break we also had awesome performances from Indoor Percussion, JV Guard, and Varsity Guard at our Drumline & Guard Spring Showcase; the Jazz Band at the Workman Jazz Festival; and the Varsity Guard at the WGASC Ayala competition. We could not do this without all of the incredible support from our administration, students, parents, and alumni. Thank you!!

INDOOR PERCUSSION @ SCPA CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS THIS SATURDAY
The Indoor Drumline season wraps up this week culminating with SCPA Championship Finals at the Coussoulis Arena at California State University, San Bernardino! We have a final Wednesday night practice today from 5:30-9:00PM. We will not have rehearsal on Friday.
There is rain in the forecast on Saturday. If you have any extra tarps or EZ-Ups that we could borrow, we would appreciate it. Please just label them with a sharpie with your last name. Thank you!

SCSBOA REGIONAL FESTIVAL @ KENNEDY HS 4/25
Congratulations to both the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble on earning a UNANIMOUS SUPERIOR rating at SCSBOA Band & Orchestra Festival! Both bands earned a “SUPERIOR” rating (the highest score attainable) by all four adjudicators, including in sight-reading.
Both the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will be advancing to the SCSBOA Regional Festival at Kennedy High School on Thursday, April 25th! Concert Band performs at 4:45PM and Wind Ensemble is at 6:30PM. The Regional Festival is free and open to the public.

FUNDRIVE DONATION EVENT – SATURDAY 4/27
Clean out your closets for a good cause! We’re collecting men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes, shoes, coats, scarves, ties, belts, bedding, comforters, blankets, towels, linens, pillows, and more! Place donated items into 13-gallon kitchen trash bags. All items must be clean and in sellable condition.
DROP-OFF: Please drop off bags at Gahr High School on Saturday, April 27th from 9AM-2PM.
