GREAT JOB AT WORKSHOPS!!
Congratulations on this week’s Marching Band & Guard Workshops!! We had an great turnout with over 130+ students in attendance. All sections made huge improvement, and we're gearing up for an incredible season! We still have a few positions open, including front ensemble percussion and synthesizer (piano). If you know anyone who might be interested or who missed the workshops, please have them email Mr. Loney: darren.loney@abcusd.us.
We’re looking forward to seeing all our color guard students next week for Color Guard Mini Camp, Monday-Thursday, June 19th-22nd from 9AM-1PM! Eat a good breakfast, bring a hat, water, and arrive early each day. Veteran guard members will also be learning and working on the routines for the Hawaii trip.

1ST DONATION OF $225 DUE
Please make sure you’ve turned in the first donation of $225. This covers our summer rehearsals, Band Camp, and some of the production and uniform/costume costs. We’re unable to run rehearsals without these funds. This specialized instruction inspires students to keep at it, a valuable skill they can apply to their other classes.

ATHLETIC PHYSICALS THIS WEDNESDAY 6/21
We will be having a physician coming from Anderson Chiropractic Care this Wednesday, June 21st from 12-3PM to do exams at the stadium. Please bring $20 CASH. Color Guard students can do their physical right after rehearsal at 1PM, or grab lunch and come back to complete it. Print this two-page form and bring it with you.
All students will need to complete their athletic clearance through FamilyID by July 24th:

DCI AT THE ROSE BOWL - SUNDAY 7/8
On Saturday, July 8th, we will be carpooling to see drum corps LIVE at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena! This is an awesome experience and you’ll get to see some of the top professional marching groups in the country including Blue Devils, Mandarins, Blue Knights, and Pacific Crest.
Pick up tickets IN-PERSON at 2:00PM on Saturday, July 8th in the Gahr High School parking lot from Mr. Loney. Please note that the Rose Bowl typically charges a $10 parking fee per vehicle. Please check this final list:
