WEEK #11 - GAHR INVITATIONAL FIELD TOURNAMENT!

This Saturday, November 6th is the GAHR INVITATIONAL FIELD TOURNAMENT!! This is a HUGE, all-day event with 30 performing band, and we need ALL HANDS ON DECK to make it a success!!! WE HAVE A MANDATORY MEETING FOR ALL STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND ALUMNI THIS WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD FROM 6:30-7:30PM IN THE STADIUM. We will be doing a walk-through of how we will be hosting the field show tournament, and then will split into different volunteer areas you signed up for. If you are an upperclassmen or alumni and are interested in hosting a band, please let Mr. Loney know ASAP. If you are a parent or alumni and have not signed up for a shift yet, WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090d49abae29a2fc1-gahr. All donations are due Wednesday. You can bring donations to Mr. Loney’s office anytime, or on Wednesday evening directly to the stadium when you come for the mandatory meeting.

RUBIO’S FUNDRAISER THIS THURSDAY 11/4 — Eat at Rubio’s Costal Grill this Thursday, November 4th anytime from 2-8PM in the Cerritos Towne Center and 30% will be donated to the Gahr Marching Gladiators!! Rubio’s is located at 12751 Towne Center Drive, Cerritos 90703. Spread the word and make sure you show the flyer!!

BAND PHOTO DAY 11/10 — Band and Color Guard PHOTO DAY is next week, Wednesday, November 10th after school until approximately 5PM. Students will change into full uniform right after school (color guard and percussion change during 6th period) and we will take the group photo followed by individual/buddy photos. SENIOR DINNER CELEBRATION 11/19 — Help us celebrate our awesome senior class on Friday, November 19th at 6:30PM at the “Off Street Cafe​” located at 11020 Artesia Blvd, Cerritos, CA 90703 (directly across the street from Gahr). Meals for the senior students will be covered by the boosters. Parents and immediate family members are highly encouraged to attend as well, but will need to pay for their dinner, which is priced at $30 per person and is due in advance (this price helps us rent out the restaurant and pay for senior goody bags). You’ll be receiving a separate email with all the dinner options and more information. Thank you!
