WINTER BREAK!
We’re officially on Winter Break!! Thank you so much to everyone who came to Thursday’s Holiday Band Concert — despite the rainy weather! We had great performances by the Jazz Band, Combined Bands, and Ross Middle School. Special thanks to Mr. Lopez and all the band students from Ross for joining us. Thank you to all the parents who helped run the bake sale, merchandise tables, and pizza and cookies for the students. Thank you to all the parents who came to last week’s Winter Drumline Parent Meeting! Both our Winter Drumline and Winter Guard are off to a great start, and our students are hard at work learning their 2022 productions!! The 1st Winter Guard Donation of $150 is due next Monday, December 27th. The 1st Winter Drumline Donation of $175 is due Friday, January 7th. Please turn in the Winter Drumline/Guard Parental Consent form to John, Trent, or Mr. Loney ASAP. Click below for updated packets for each group, including the Parental Consent form.

WIND/PERCUSSION AUDITIONS — All winds and percussionists will be evaluated when we get back from Winter Break for ensemble placement in either Concert Band or Wind Ensemble. Students were given music to the piece “American Faces” and winds have an SCSBOA scale sheet with two major scales, two minor scales, and a chromatic scale. Please encourage your son or daughter to practice this music!

FALL DONATIONS PAST DUE — The total balance of $525 for marching donations is past due. Students must be caught up with fall donations to be part of the Winter Drumline and Winter Guard.
