FANTASTIC JOB AT THE GAHR INVITATIONAL FIELD TOURNAMENT THIS PAST WEEKEND. WE’VE GOT A BIG WEEK WE PREPARE FOR SO CAL DIVISION FINALS THIS SATURDAY! WE NEED EVERYONE TO BE AT 100% AND HEALTHY – SO PLEASE STAY HYDRATED, WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY, GET PLENTY OF REST, AND WEAR A MASK IF YOU HAVE THE SNIFFLES.

GAHR INVITATIONAL – THANK YOU!!

Thank you to the parents, students, and alumni that made the 8th annual Gahr Invitational Field Tournament our most successful yet!! We received nothing but positive comments from band directors, spectators, and adjudicators about how impressed they were with the tournament. The band director from San Marcos said,

“Thanks so much for a great show! Your volunteers were top notch and some of the best we’ve had all year. So nice, so welcoming and helpful. I also wanted to give a special shout-out to our band guide on Saturday. He was so helpful, kind, and wonderful. It was a great evening all around! It was also our last show of the season and we couldn’t have asked for more! Thanks a million and best of luck on the rest of the season! Go Gahr!!!!”

Everything ran smoothly from beginning to end, and that was due to our amazing volunteers. We would especially like to thank everyone who worked the ENTIRE DAY! We are so fortunate to have such dedicated and hardworking parents and alumni. If you were unable to see the Gahr perform because you were working, check out this link.

This could not have been possible without the tremendous hard work from our ALUMNI! We had many alumni parents and students who have continued to give back to the program by running key areas of the Gahr Invitational Field Tournament. We would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to this year’s Gahr Invitational Tournament Chair, Julie Castro, for running such an incredible show! With our new evening rehearsal schedule, she truly took the lead for all the parent meetings. We would also like to thank Dee Dee Varney for all her work behind the scenes.
